This will cover Pediatric CPR and First Aid specific to the work environment in childcare.This course is designed to give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive.

It is intended for persons who do not work in the healthcare field, but are occupationally required or desire to have CPR knowledge and skills. Typical students include emergency response teams in businesses, school bus drivers, trainers in health clubs, nannies, police officers, adult residential caregivers, teachers, parents and babysitters.

The Blended Training Method employs online training in place of the classroom portion. Upon successful completion, a remote skills assessment will need to be scheduled. Students must have a smartphone with camera or a computer (laptop, desktop, tablet) with webcam for the skills session. 

Remote Assessment Hands-On Details:

There is a remote skills test/demonstration required for successful completion of this course. RSV is a fully-integrated portal that delivers live remote hands-on skills verification with blended training options. Once the skills covered in the course are correctly demonstrated via video conferencing, rental manikin returned, a two-year ASHI certification card is provided. Remote skills session included. Included is the blended course, digital certification card, remotes skill video. HSI will ship a Preston Ultra Lite manikin and training supply kit. A return call tag will be included for the return of the manikin.
